The Moment of a Child

Solo Exhibition — Hwaseong Children’s Cultural Center, Korea (March–June 2024)

The Moment of a Child is a participatory exhibition created in collaboration with the Hwaseong Children’s Cultural Center, built around the message that every child has the right to grow up healthy and happy.

The exhibition invited children to reflect on and illustrate their own “special moments,” transforming their memories into art. A large-scale wall illustration with dimensional foam board installations filled the space, also serving as a photo wall for visitors to enjoy.

Inside the gallery, children’s desks, colored pencils, and activity sheets were provided to encourage hands-on participation. The artworks created by the young visitors were later displayed together, completing the exhibition as a collaborative dialogue between the artist and children.
