Editoral Illustrations for The New York Times

Fresh out of college at SVA, I had one simple dream: to see my illustration published in The New York Times one day.
Not long after graduation, that dream came true. I still remember sitting in a tiny Thai restaurant with a fellow classmate, talking about how we hoped to make it as illustrators. Then my phone buzzed — an email notification popped up — and there it was: my very first assignment from The New York Times.

I teared up instantly, and my friend cried with me. That moment still feels vivid —
a mix of disbelief, gratitude, and pure joy.

Even now, I carry that same enthusiasm every time I draw.
